A women constable staying in Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore has committed suicide on Thursday.
The constable, identified as G Sathya with 4th Battalion of Tamilnadu Special Police was found hanging from the ceiling inside staff quarters allotted to her. She has a father and two elder sisters, one of whom is married. Relatives of sathya claims that she would have taken the extreme step because of a love affair. Sathya was in love with a construction worker whereas her family has accepted it and the boy’s family hasn’t.
