Green Activists protest felling trees- Seeks Collector's Help

 Green and Eco activists in the City has met Collector of Coimbatore City in order to prevent cutting of the trees that is being carried out by State Highways Department.

Highways department is currently involved in Vadavalli bus stand project, which needs the Marudamalai road to be widened. Collector has promised the activists that necessary action will be taken to protect the green cover of the City.
